P&B Pharmaceuticals Private Limited has a rich legacy that traces back to 1964, when it was founded by the visionary Dr. Khushmantlal Patel. A pioneer in the pharmaceutical sector, Dr. Patel completed his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Science from the prestigious University of Wisconsin in 1954—a remarkable academic achievement at the time. His expertise and passion for innovation positioned him as a respected figure in both the Indian and American pharmaceutical industries. With a deep commitment to scientific rigor and ethical values, he established P&B Pharmaceuticals with the goal of delivering world-class healthcare solutions that improve lives. In 2023, the company entered a new chapter when it was taken over by the Patel Group, owned by Mr. Deven Rameshkumar Patel of Ahmedabad. Continuing the legacy, his son, Mr. Arth Deven Patel, now leads the organization as Managing Director. With a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical and Chemical Engineering, Mr. Arth Patel brings both academic excellence and a fresh, forward-looking perspective to the company. Sharing the same values of integrity, innovation, and dedication to public health as Dr. Khushmantlal Patel, he is committed to building on the company’s storied legacy while driving it toward new horizons.

Deven Rameshkumar Patel

Mr. Deven Rameshkumar Patel is a versatile entrepreneur with a Mechanical Engineering background and decades of business experience. As Managing Director of Texraj Reality Pvt. Ltd., he has led impactful real estate redevelopment and land-trading projects across Gujarat. A notable achievement includes acquiring and transforming a 3,63,000 sq. yd. industrial property in Ahmedabad. His company is currently developing 98 industrial sheds in Changodar.

He began his entrepreneurial journey in 1993 with a granite export business, supplying markets across the USA, Australia, and Southeast Asia. He later launched a successful lumber venture in Russia, managing a 2,500 sq. km forest lease near Lake Baikal.

Mr. Patel holds ownership of Ambition Mica Ltd., a leading manufacturer of decorative laminates and flush doors based in Gandhinagar. His strategic insight, global vision, and commitment to quality define his multifaceted business journey.

Arth Deven Patel

Mr. Arth Deven Patel is a pharmaceutical and chemical engineering professional with a strong foundation in research, formulation, and product development.

He holds a Master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University, where he focused on drug delivery systems and protein-polymer conjugates. Over the years, he has gained hands-on experience across R&D, Formulation Development, Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Analytical development.

Arth has worked extensively on solid and liquid oral dosage forms, as well as innovative inhalation-based therapies like metered dose inhalers (MDIs). His career reflects a balance of technical expertise and strategic thinking.

Now based in India, he is focused on building a forward-looking pharmaceutical venture. Arth is driven by a passion for innovation and a vision to improve healthcare solutions through science and entrepreneurship.
